ME7.1 ECU's do not have an immobilizer active.
ME7.1.1 ECU's have an immobilizer active which will prevent the engine from running. Please contact us if you have an active immobilizer ME7.1.1 ECU we can provide the service to disable it. This requires sending your ECU to us.
The ECU must be updated with a base tuning file to start the tuning process. Links to our base files are listed below.
Caution: installing the incorrect base file will soft brick the ECU. It can be recovered but will require sending us the ECU.To upload the base file we recommend using: NefMoto ME7 Flasher Logger
Use:
Connect your vehicle's battery to a constant, stable power source. This is vital, if the ECU loses power or voltage dips during any flashing operation a soft brick of the ECU may occur.
Connect your flashing cable to your vehicle's OBD port.
Turn on your ignition (but do not start the car).
Select the memory layout: ME7 29F800BB
